As I write this, I’m consuming some pre-workout. It’s not really needed, but I thought I’d give it a shot to see what it does.
Here I am, writing another weight-loss post. But this time I’ve been at it for around 50 days (well, tracking *most* of my food on MFP for 50 days ish).
I have lost weight, although I do not know how much as I didn’t jump on the scales when I began. However, the last time I was at the doctor she was I was over 120kg. Which is what I weighed the last time I weighed myself.
Earlier this week I said a big “screw you” to my fear of my weight and jumped on the scales. I now weigh 120.5kg. Back to what I weighed two years ago when I last got on the scales. I now need to go to the doctor to see how much exactly I weighed at the beginning of the year.
I’m not following any specific diet like keto or paleo like last time. Those two diets to not suit me well. I love carbs and sugar. I’m now doing IIFYM (if it fits your macros). Basically just counting calories.
As a result of calorie counting, I have cut out a lot of shitty food and drinks as they are high calories. I no longer eat a block of chocolate a few times a week. I don’t binge until all the food is gone. I can recognize when I am full.
I am also exercising up to five times a week. Right now I’m doing Ice Cream Fitness, so I do weight lifting 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). On off days I do cardio as I am preparing to do City to Surf next year (well, we’ll see how far I get, I may end up walking it haha).
I’m going to post some stats so whoever is interested can keep track if they like.
- SW: ??
- CW: 120.5kg
- GW: ~60kg. I’d be happy under a size 14 to be honest, no matter what the weight
- Current squat: 80kg
- Current Deadlift: 50kg (can do 60, but working on form)
- Bench: 40kg
Those are the stats important to me. I do other weight lifting, but my arms are so weak it’s kinda not worth mentioning.
