  • I like this post. I feel as if I’ve learned a lot about you. I love history too and I’m curious, so I love learning generally. Sometimes, I’m a bit much though, because I can talk about history for hours (even though I typically refrain) and when any of my students ask a historical question inside I’m thinking, “YASS~” Most the time, I ask them “How much do you want to know?” because the conversation could be endless…

Also, I really like your blog’s theme. It looks nice and it’s easy to read/navigate.

      Thanks for the comment, Chantelle!

I wish I could take the credit for the theme! I wanted something nice and easy though and whenever I make my own themes they always come out so…. Not professional? Does that makes sense?

What do you teach? I mostly listen, never inform about history, because as much as I love learning it, I always forget the important parts. Do you have a favorite era of history? I like anything, but mainly I love learning about anything pre-victoria era. Recently I’ve been watching these videos on Daily Motion about the Franks etc. Here is the one I’m watching today: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xrog2n_barbarians-ii-the-franks_shortfilms the quality is crap, but I still enjoy them!

      • I teach history. ^^ Actually, most of the time, I teach English literature. All of my history classes finished earlier this month, so now I just have Eng lit., which is fine. 😀 I love teaching history, though. Honestly, I love teaching pretty much anything (math, history, English lit. physics…) As for favorite eras, I like the Revolutionary and Antebellum periods in the States, the Age of Absolutism in Europe (mainly France), and Korea’s colonial period as well as some of its earlier periods. I’m also a fan of early modern English history but pretty much anything works for me–legal history, historiography, whatever. I’m going to check out those videos.

  • Hi Jana. Thank you for leaving a comment on your blog. Hearing about your positive turnaround is inspiring to me.

It seems like we have a couple of things in common. I love CAH, and Everlong is one of my favourite songs (if not THE one). Except I don’t like Vampire literature at all. Also, I LOVE superheroes,,, My friends and I are major fans of the Marvel movie franchise. I intend to put together a “my favourite things” post at some point soon.
